Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last updated: July 14, 2026

What this covers

This policy applies to paid Pro and Team subscriptions to Roadmark. The free plan is, and stays, free — nothing here applies to it. It sits alongside the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy; where they touch billing, this policy governs.

Try before you pay

Roadmark has a genuinely useful free plan — you can build boards, share a public link, and evaluate the product without paying. We recommend using it to decide whether Pro or Team is right for you before you subscribe. Pricing for each plan is on the pricing page, shown per month and per year (the yearly price is two months free).

Who processes your payment

Payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record. Lemon Squeezy charges your card, is the name that appears on your statement, issues the receipt, and collects any applicable sales tax or VAT. Because they are the merchant, refunds are issued through their system — you request a refund from us (or through them) and it is returned to your original payment method.

Cancelling a subscription

  • You can cancel at any time, self-serve, from Account → Manage subscription, which opens the billing portal (card, invoices, cancel, plan switch).
  • Cancelling stops the next renewal. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you've already paid for — you keep Pro/Team features until then, and you are not charged again.
  • We don't pro-rate or refund the unused part of a period on a plain cancellation — you simply keep access through the end of what you paid for. (Separately, the money-back guarantee below can still apply to a recent first charge.)
  • When the paid period ends without renewal, the account reverts to the free plan. Your boards and data aren't deleted; features exclusive to the paid tier become unavailable until you resubscribe.

14-day money-back guarantee

If you're not happy with a new paid subscription, email us within 14 days of the first charge and we'll refund it in full — no interrogation. This applies to the initial payment on a new Pro or Team subscription (monthly or yearly). It does not turn later renewals into rolling 14-day windows: a renewal charge for a plan you've been on for months isn't covered by the guarantee (though your statutory rights and our discretion below still stand).

Renewals

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period (monthly or yearly) at the then-current price for your plan, until you cancel. We'll only change your price with advance notice. To avoid a renewal charge, cancel before the renewal date from Account → Manage subscription. If a renewal charges you and you didn't mean it to, email us within 7 days of the renewal chargeand we'll refund it.

Your statutory rights (EU / UK and elsewhere)

If you're a consumer in the EU/EEA, the UK, or another jurisdiction with a legal “cooling-off” or withdrawal right, you keep that right regardless of anything above. For digital services you can start using immediately, that right can be affected once performance begins with your consent — but our 14-day money-back guarantee is designed to meet or exceed the typical statutory window either way, so in practice you can simply ask. Nothing in this policy limits mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.

How to request a refund

Email support@yourroadmark.com from the address on your account and, if you have it, include the order or receipt number from your Lemon Squeezy email. We aim to reply within a few days. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method via Lemon Squeezy; how long it then takes to appear depends on your bank or card issuer, typically a few business days up to about ten.

Chargebacks

If something looks wrong on a charge, please contact us first — a refund is almost always faster than a bank dispute, and we'd rather fix it directly. Opening a chargeback without reaching out may lead to the related account being suspended while the dispute is resolved.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the paid plans evolve. Material changes are reflected by bumping the “Last updated” date above and, where practical, notifying active subscribers. The policy in force when you were charged is the one that applies to that charge.
